It's aged much better than MK1 even though. And personally, I would somewhat play it over the 3D period things (which experienced great lore, but terrible gameplay). MK4 is basically just MK3 with sidesteps and being capable of pick up weapons like a gimmick.
Sub-Zero is certainly "easy mode", which... suggests a lot. It can be difficult even when playing as him. But being capable of freeze the opponent makes a major difference. But I feel the unfair trouble in MK is frustrating in a unique strategy to SF. During the latter you're likely to lose a great deal however you don't commit that much time over the fights.
In MK the fights will start to sense very drawn out once you are able to land some hits as well as the nearer you obtain to defeating the opponent with random single hits the harder it stings when they eventually pull a bullshit transfer and snatches the victory away from you.

When i went back to PC playing modern 2024/2025 recent games it makes no sense how graphics on these don't appear that much better than RDR2 but is muuuuch more demanding to run (In accordance with youtube assessments due to the fact i don't individual RDR2 on Computer system nonetheless). Basically pushed to obtain more recent hardware
Konami did something cool with that DS Castlevania collection when it incorporated a remake of Haunted Castle. So I hope tendencies like this continue on when it relates to these collections.
